These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SermonSync platform and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SermonSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a church or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

SermonSync provides sermon amplification services for churches — turning one sermon into a full week of content for your congregation. The service includes: - Sermon transcription and processing - Hosted sermon library platform - Weekly content generation (email recaps, social media, discussion guides, devotionals, and more) - Search and discovery tools

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Content Ownership

  • Your Content: You retain full ownership of all sermon audio, transcripts, and related content. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.
  • License to Us: You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
  • Generated Content: Study notes, summaries, discussion guides, and all generated weekly content become part of your content library. You own these materials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: - Upload content that infringes on third-party copyrights - Use the service for any unlawful purpose - Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the platform's security - Share account credentials with unauthorized parties - Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent

6. Subscription and Payment

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan.
  • Free Trial: Your first sermon is transcribed free. No credit card required.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers.

7. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously and maintain strict tenant isolation between churches.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SermonSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, you may export your content for 90 days.
  • We may terminate the service with 90 days advance notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
