Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SermonSync.
You upload one sermon. We turn it into 7+ weekly touchpoints for your congregation — a Monday email recap, social media posts, a small group discussion guide, a 5-day devotional, a reading plan, and more. Everything is built from your own words. Your people hear from you all week, without any extra work from you.
GeneralNo. That's the key — your people don't change any behavior. The email arrives in their inbox. The social posts appear in their feed. The small group guide shows up for leaders automatically. The content comes to them through channels they already use. Nothing new to learn, nothing to download.
GeneralNew sermons are typically processed within 2 hours of upload. By Monday morning, your email recap, social content, small group guide, and weekly devotional are ready for your review.
GeneralMP3, WAV, MP4 — or we can pull directly from your YouTube channel or podcast feed. If you already record your sermons in any format, we can work with it.
TechnicalDepending on your plan: a polished Monday email recap, 5+ social media posts with designed graphics, a formatted small group discussion guide, a 5-day devotional drip, a daily reading plan, a family discussion card, a prayer guide, pre-service screen content, and engagement analytics. All from one sermon upload.
Content & FeaturesEvery word comes from your actual sermon — your illustrations, your scripture, your heart. We process your sermon to extract the key points, quotes, and themes, then format them into each content type. You review everything before it reaches your congregation. Nothing goes out that isn't yours.
Content & FeaturesYes — send us one sermon and we'll show you exactly what your congregation would receive. The Monday email, the social posts, the small group guide, the devotional. Your words, formatted and ready to go. No credit card needed. No commitment.
Pricing & PlansYes, no contracts. Cancel anytime. Full library export — one click. Every transcript, PDF, audio file, and graphic is yours to keep forever. We never hold your content hostage.
Pricing & PlansConsider what you're already spending separately: social media help ($500–2,000/mo), email newsletter writing ($200–500/mo), small group curriculum ($15–30/mo per leader), graphic design ($200–500/series). SermonSync replaces all of that for one monthly fee — and the content is tied directly to your pastor's own teaching. It's less than one volunteer appreciation lunch per month.
Pricing & PlansThat's exactly why this works. Do they check email? They get the Monday recap. Do they look at the lobby screens before service? They see last week's key verse. Do they hold a bulletin? They get a printed recap insert. This isn't an app your congregation downloads. It's content delivered to them in channels they already use.
GeneralThat's a great start — and it means setup is even easier. We pull directly from your channel. But here's the question: how many people go back and re-watch last week's sermon? In marketing, it takes 7 touchpoints before a message sticks. A YouTube video is one. SermonSync gives you the other six — email, social posts, small group guide, devotional, reading plan, screen content, and more. And if you wanted to syndicate to Apple Podcasts or Spotify, that's $20 a month of podcast hosting we include for free in our standard packages. Having a recording and using a recording are two very different things.
GeneralYes. Plus and Pro plans include automatic podcast distribution to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and any app that reads RSS feeds. Your sermon publishes as a podcast episode automatically each week — no separate hosting service, no manual uploads, no extra cost. That's $20/month of value from services like Podbean or Buzzsprout that we include for free. We also generate an RSS content feed that can auto-update your church website with each week's sermon.
Content & FeaturesSmall churches need this more than anyone. You don't have a media team, a content writer, or a social coordinator. SermonSync is all three, for one price. A church of 50 where every member hears from their pastor all week is doing something most megachurches can't pull off.
GeneralYou won't need to. Give us your YouTube channel URL. We'll process this Sunday's sermon and send you the results Monday morning. Look at the email, the social posts, the small group guide. If you like what you see, you're already set up. The demo IS the onboarding. There is no setup step.
TechnicalFull library export. One click. Every transcript, PDF, audio file, and graphic — organized, downloadable, yours forever. Your content is always yours.
Pricing & PlansYes. We can process your back catalog at $12/sermon. Most churches start with their most recent 6–12 months and work backward. We support bulk imports from YouTube, podcast feeds, Google Drive, and direct uploads.
TechnicalBeyond the weekly content, we also set up a branded sermon page at your church's URL (e.g., sermons.yourchurch.com). Your congregation can search, browse by topic or series, and read along with the audio. But the real value isn't the library — it's the weekly content that reaches your people without them ever visiting it.
Content & FeaturesYou can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features and content types. When downgrading, changes take effect at your next billing cycle. All your content is preserved regardless of plan changes.
Pricing & PlansYes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each church's data is completely isolated. We never share your content with other churches or use it for any purpose other than serving your congregation.
